Programa 4 + 2 Doble Titulación Internacional – UCU - Institut Catholique d'Arts et Métiers (ICAM)
Acuerdo entre la Universidad Católica del Uruguay (UCU) y el Institut Catholique d’Arts et Métiers (ICAM) que permite a los estudiantes de Ingeniería Industrial puedan cursar los primeros nueve semestres de su carrera en UCU y continuar luego cuatro semestres en ICAM, obteniendo una doble titulación internacional:
• Ingeniero/a Industrial (UCU)
• Master Ingénieur Généraliste (ICAM – Francia)
El programa ofrece una experiencia binacional y bilingüe, en un entorno académico de excelencia, con formación en francés, y con una beca del 100% sobre el costo del programa en ICAM.
Costos de matrícula
Los estudiantes seleccionados deberán:
• Abonar en la UCU el costo habitual de su carrera.
• Abonar 6 cuotas más por concepto de matrícula al programa de maestría.
• En ICAM no deberán abonar costos adicionales de matrícula.
Requisitos académicos:
• Ser estudiante activo de Ingeniería Industrial en UCU.
• Haber completado 9 semestres de la carrera al momento del intercambio, en coordinación con la Dirección de Carrera.
• Acreditar nivel B1 en francés y B2 en inglés al inicio de la estadía en ICAM.
• Alcanzar nivel B2 en ambos idiomas para la graduación.
Postulaciones:
Las postulaciones serán del 15 de noviembre al 15 de febrero, a través del formulario online disponible en la web Asuntos Internacionales.
Selección:
La selección de los becarios será realizada por un comité integrado por la Dirección de Carrera, el Decano de la Facultad y la Dirección de Asuntos Internacionales.
Se evaluará:
• Avance en la carrera.
• Promedio académico.
• Cumplimiento de requisitos lingüísticos y académicos.
• Carta de motivación y perfil del postulante.
Requisitos para la obtención de los títulos
Para obtener el título de Ingeniero/a Industrial (UCU) y el Master Ingénieur Généraliste (ICAM), los estudiantes deberán:
• Completar los 4.5 años (9 semestres) de la carrera de grado en UCU, en coordinación con la Dirección de Carrera.
• Cursar y aprobar los dos años del máster en ICAM.
• Realizar y validar 28 semanas de pasantías en empresa durante su estadía en Francia (o acreditar experiencia previa equivalente validada por ICAM).
• Acreditar un nivel B2 de francés y de inglés.
La acreditación de las pasantías responde a las exigencias de la Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur (CTI), organismo que certifica la formación de ingenieros profesionales en Francia. Los estudiantes de UCU podrán hacer valer una pasantía realizada antes de su llegada a ICAM, siempre que haya sido supervisada por UCU. Para ello, deberán defender su experiencia ante un jurado de profesores de ICAM.

Recent students and graduates from the Faculty of Business Sciences, as well as those who have pursued business-related degrees at the Salto and Punta del Este campuses, will be able to pursue a master’s degree in the Business area under preferential admission and cost conditions.
The eligible master’s programs include:
- Master in Accounting
- Master in Business Analytics
- Master in Finance
- Master in FinTech
- Master in Marketing Analytics & Strategy, and MBA, among others.
The benefits available to graduates of the Faculty of Business Sciences and business programs at the Salto and Punta del Este campuses include:
- Simplified admission process, with no application fee
- 20% discount (equivalent to 6 credits) on the price of the master’s program at Fairfield University
- If they meet a minimum GPA of 4.92 in their undergraduate transcript and a minimum English level of C1, they will not be required to take the GMAT or TOEFL. If they do not meet these GPA or English requirements, they can still apply but will need to pass the GMAT or TOEFL, depending on the case.
- As per U.S. legislation, by studying in the United States, they have the possibility to stay two more years working in the country.
- Simplified Admissions Process. The application fee and standardized test (GMAT or GRE) will be waived for UCU students within the 4+1 Partnership. In addition, UCU students who have an English Level of Cl will not be required to submit the TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo exams.
- Merit Scholarship. UCU students within the 4+1 Partnership will receive a $10,000 minimum merit scholarship upon admission.
- STEM Programs .UCU students who complete a Fordham Gabelli MS Program that is STEM Designated will have the potential opportunity to work within the United States for three (3) years post graduation.

- USD 10.000 scholarship (automatic application)
- If the student has an English level of C1 (certified by an international certification of English), they will not be required to take TOEFL, IELTs, Duolingo.
- As per U.S. legislation, by studying a STEM Program, students can stay up to three more years working in the country.
4+2 with the New York Film Academy
UCU alumni, who have completed their bachelor’s degree, may gain preferred admittance to NYFA Master of Arts and Master of Fine Arts degree programs.

Benefits and requirements:
All UCU students and alumni participating in master programs in NYFA will receive a 10% tuition discount for the NYFA program in which they enroll. *This discount does not apply to costs for accommodation, living expenses, health insurance, or any other NYFA fees (including equipment, technology, activity, or other fees). The awarding of any additional internal NYFA funding will be offset by the 10% cooperation discount described above.
All UCU students and alumni participating in Master programs in NYFA may be waived from the NYFA English Proficiency Exam Score Requirement if they complete the C1 Level English Certificate.
All UCU students and alumni participating in Master programs in NYFA will need to furnish NYFA with an official proof of completion of a UCU bachelor’s degree before enrolling. While studying at NYFA, UCU students will be able to participate in NYFA schoolwide activities and will have access to NYFA resources.
